In the journey of grief, our spiritual beliefs and religious backgrounds often become intensified. They offer solace, and, at times, further confusion or pain. Together, we will discern and navigate the complex interplay between religion and spirituality, especially during the delicate times following a loss.

We respectfully explore how certain religious doctrines may not only offer comfort but also inadvertently contribute to the intensification of grief.

⛓️ Break The Chains Of Unforgiveness

The pain of grief can cause us to seek someone to blame. Anger turned inward is guilt. Anger may be directed at a third party, like a doctor, hospital, or someone else we hold responsible. Anger can even be directed to our deceased loved one. This unforgiveness holds us back. It’s essential to let go of any blame, self-directed or otherwise.

💔 Understand What Grief Is and Know You Can Heal

We will delve into the nature of grief, its symptoms, and the reasons behind it. I’ll share insights from my own experience and the stories of others as we discover the difference between moving forward and moving on and envision a life where healing from grief is possible. This program is designed for anyone grappling with grief, regardless of its source—whether it’s from the loss of a loved one, divorce, job loss, or any other life-altering event.

While Brian is a certified grief educator, there are several differences between this program and traditional grief counseling. Brian uses the continuing bonds framework. Grief counseling has told people to let go of their loved one, as an unhealthy attachment. Continuing bonds encourages an on-going relationship.

Brian has experienced the loss of a child. Brian encourages talking about spiritually transformative experiences and seeking them. Brian incorporates talking about the afterlife into the program. Many of Brian’s clients have gone to grief counselors or continue to see them even while taking the program.

The duration of the program varies depending on the number of one-on-one Zoom sessions you choose—options are available for 3, 6, or 8 sessions. You choose how many sessions you want to start with. Additional sessions are always available.

Clients are encouraged to schedule one session a week, as time allows.

You have access to me via email and text for any questions or concerns that arise throughout the program. You can email or text. I will respond as my availability allows. My clients love our interactions that occur between our regularly scheduled sessions.

While the program is customized, there are key modules we often explore, including understanding your limiting beliefs, grief education, self-care techniques, mindfulness practices, and strategies for continuing bonds with departed loved ones.

Heart’s Horizon

Moving beyond the immediate effects of loss, “Heart’s Horizon” takes you on a deeper emotional voyage over six sessions. Together, we’ll explore the terrain of your inner world, focusing on emotional intelligence, the complexity of grief, and even your spiritual questions. This level is tailored to encourage self-reflection and healing, offering you a broader perspective of your grief journey. Think of it as expanding your horizon, helping you to see more clearly the paths that are available for your emotional and spiritual growth.

Soul Summit

The pinnacle of your healing journey, “Soul Summit” consists of eight impactful sessions that aim for profound spiritual understanding and connection. At this stage, we dive deeper into the eternal bond that exists between you and your loved ones, beyond the physical realm. Drawing upon your own experiences, as well as reason and evidence, we’ll delve into life’s bigger questions about the nature of the afterlife, continuing relationships with departed loved ones, and your personal growth as a soul having a human experience. This is where you find your highest elevation, giving you a panoramic view of both your earthly life and your everlasting connection to the spiritual realm.
