How To Be Unmessable With- with Josselyne Herman-Saccio

In a world filled with distractions, pressure, and constant chaos, it’s easy to feel like life is happening to us. But what if we could flip that narrative—and instead of reacting to life, we created it?

In this episode of Grief 2 Growth, host Brian D. Smith speaks with transformation coach Josselyne Herman-Saccio, creator of the “Unmessable With” methodology, about how to build resilience, reclaim your power, and start living your dream life right now—not “someday.”

Whether you’re burned out, stuck in a cycle of people-pleasing, or waiting for the “right time,” this conversation is your wake-up call.

What It Really Means to Be Unmessable With

Being unmessable with doesn’t mean you’re cold or unfeeling.

It means being grounded in your vision—so deeply rooted that no amount of outside noise, conflict, or fear can knock you off center.

Josselyne defines being unmessable with as the ability to stay in creation mode, even when the world around you is spinning. Instead of reacting to life from fear, triggers, or trauma, you act from clarity and purpose.

“It’s not about being tough,” Jocelyn explains. “It’s about being able to act from your vision—not your fears.”

Josselyne Story: From Chaos to Clarity

At just eight years old, Jocelyn watched her mother go from a heartbroken, disempowered woman to a force of nature—after attending a transformational seminar known as EST (Erhard Seminars Training).

Soon after, her parents—who had been on the brink of divorce—reunited and are still together today. The change was so dramatic that Josselyne knew transformation was real, and she wanted to bring that kind of breakthrough to others.

Years later, during a leadership call, someone described another person as “so messable with.” That phrase hit Josselyne like lightning.

“That’s it,” she thought. “That’s what I’ve been trying to put language to all these years.”

She trademarked it, built a brand, and began teaching her clients how to stay rooted in creation, no matter what life throws at them.

Why Most of Us Are Living in Reaction

Human brains are wired for survival. That’s great when you’re being chased by a saber-toothed tiger—not so great when you’re trying to have a peaceful Thanksgiving dinner with relatives who voted differently.

When we’re triggered, we often don’t even notice. But our bodies do.

That’s why Josselyne trains her clients to identify physical red flags that signal they’ve shifted into reaction mode. For some, it’s a tight chest. For others, shallow breathing or a flushed face.

“You don’t need to understand the thought,” she says. “Just recognize the signal and interrupt it.”

Simple Tools to Shift from Reaction to Creation

Josselyne uses a two-part process:

  1. Hack the reaction – Use a quick method like breathwork (inhale for 3, exhale for 6) or physical movement to bring yourself back to neutral.
  2. Activate the vision – Reconnect with what you’re committed to and take a small action to express that now.

For example, one client dreaded a family gathering due to political division. Instead of hoping it wouldn’t turn into a debate, she created a vision of “fun and togetherness,” then designed activities that fulfilled that.

No arguments happened. And the result? The best holiday in years.

Turning Complaints Into Powerful Requests

Most of us are taught to complain. Rarely are we taught how to make empowered requests.

Instead of saying, “You never help around the house,” try:

“I request we split the chores 50/50 starting this week.”

Instead of “I need a raise,” say:

“I request a 10% increase in my salary effective May 1.”

It’s not just semantics—it’s a mindset shift from powerlessness to possibility.

“If you’re complaining, it means you’re committed to something,” Jocelyn says. “So take that commitment and turn it into a request.”

Breaking Free from Limiting Beliefs

Josselyne once believed, “You can’t do your art as your career.” That belief came from a casual comment her dad made when she was five.

She didn’t question it—until years later, when a transformational workshop helped her see it for what it was: a lie. Within three weeks of shedding that belief, she had a record deal and hit #1 on the charts.

We all carry beliefs that quietly sabotage our potential. Until we name them, we can’t change them.

What did you learn about success, love, or money as a child that might be limiting you now?

The Real Reasons You’re Overwhelmed

When clients tell Josselyne they’re “too busy,” she doesn’t buy it. Often, the problem isn’t the task—it’s the lack of clarity and structure.

People double-book themselves. They forget to include transition time, meals, or rest in their schedules. They live off to-do lists instead of designing their calendars with intention.

“Overwhelm isn’t real,” Josselyne says. “You have the time you have. You’re just not managing it effectively.”

She teaches clients to add everything to their calendars—including meditation, rest, and even intimacy. That way, nothing that matters gets lost in the shuffle.

The Trap of “Someday Thinking”

“I’ll launch that podcast someday.”
“I’ll write my book when I have more time.”
“I’ll take that trip once I retire.”

Josselyne not having it.

“You’ve never lived in the future or the past,” she says. “You only ever live now.”

When she realized she’d been talking about moving to France for decades, she stopped herself mid-sentence. She and her husband set a date, made a plan—and were living in Paris six months later.

You don’t need to make it happen all today. But you can take action now.

Book the ticket. Create the outline. Make the call.

Real Transformations from Real People

Josselyne methodology isn’t abstract. It’s resulted in massive wins for her clients:

  • A lawyer jumped from $300K to over $2M in revenue—while working fewer hours.
  • A startup founder went from zero to profitability in under 3 months.
  • A doctor 8x’ed her income while expanding her clinic’s impact.

What do they all have in common?
They stopped reacting. They started creating. They got clear on their vision and let it lead the way.

Your Word Is Your Wand

The ancient word abracadabra means “I create as I speak.”

Josselyne teaches that your word—what you say and commit to—is your most powerful tool for transformation.

If you say you’ll do something, do it. Every time you follow through, you strengthen your identity as someone who creates results.

“When you negotiate with your word, you weaken it. When you honor it, you become unstoppable.”

Start with small promises. Keep them. Build from there.

You Can Start Living Your Dream Life Right Now

You don’t need a 12-month plan to start living on purpose. You don’t need permission. You don’t need to feel ready.

You just need to act from your vision instead of your fear.

So ask yourself:

  • What have I been putting off until “someday”?
  • What’s one small action I can take today to bring it into reality?

Josselyne’s advice: “Stop saying let’s do lunch. Pull out your calendar. Book the lunch.”
