Money

Money, some see it as the reason for living. Some see money as evil. If you see money as evil, you might (subconsciously) sabotage yourself from obtaining what you need. If you see yourself as undeserving, you might do the same thing. Do you feel like you never have enough money? How much is enough money? What are you willing to do for money?

If you don’t have enough money, there are two options- earn more and/or spend less. A career change might be needed. Perhaps you need to take on a part-time job? Are you prioritizing your expenditures properly? Are you trying to live beyond your means?

How is your relationship with money?

Make the Money, Don’t Let The Money Make You

Money is that thing we don’t like to talk about but we spend an awful lot of time thinking about it and trying to make it. What will we do for money? What won’t we do for money? We trade our time for money. Time is the one thing we cannot make more of. We all have the same amount in each day and our days are numbered. You can learn to view money a different way if we have a bad relationship with money.

There have been (and still are) times in my life when my obsession with having enough got in the way of my mental health. I confess I am a work in progress here. But, as I get older, I am putting money in perspective and by having been disciplined with money in the past it’s not a true concern for me now. Living within my means has afforded me the luxury in my old age to pursue the things I want to do without worrying about how to pay next month’s bills.
