The Buddhists understand the importance of equanimity. You’ve probably heard the term nonattachment. The Buddhists have a practice to cultivate Equanimity to keep themselves planted firmly on the ground.
In a state of equanimity is that our feet are planted firmly on the ground and we’re not thrown off balance one way or the other by things that happen to us, around us, or for us- depending on your point of view.
